good
We chose the Guilin tour after seeing recommendations on Tripadvisor, and we were not disappointed! The Li River cruise was like a painting, and Yangshuo's West Street was very unique. Our guide, Ah Ming, was enthusiastic and humorous—he took great care of us throughout the trip. We also tried bamboo rafting—the water was clear and the mountains were green, making us feel like we were in a fairyland. The hotel was by the Li River, so we could enjoy the landscape view right after waking up. The only downside was that the Yulong River rafting time was a bit short—wish it could be longer next time. Overall, great value for money and professional service—highly recommended!

Chongqing Day-Trip: Amazing 8D City with Delicious Street Food
As a traveler who loves exploring “unique cities,” Chongqing’s “8D magical terrain” has always attracted me. During this trip to Southwest China, I specially set aside a day to join this company’s Day-trips. After referring to the positive reviews on Tripadvisor, I really made the right choice! Guide Sister Chen is a native of Chongqing; she speaks fluent Chinese and simple Malay, so my Malaysian friend and I had no communication barriers.
The trip started at Hongyadong. Sister Chen told us that the design of Hongyadong was inspired by Chongqing’s stilt houses, and when the lights are on at night, it looks like a scene from “Spirited Away”—we waited until evening on purpose, watching the stilt houses slowly lit up by lights under the sunset, really like stepping into an animated world! Later, we went to Liberation Monument; she explained Chongqing’s anti-Japanese war history, and took us to an old noodle shop hidden in an alley. The recommended Chongqing noodles with peanut butter were spicy and rich in flavor, much more authentic than the Chongqing noodles I ate in Malaysia!
In the afternoon, when taking the Yangtze River Cableway, Sister Chen bought tickets for us in advance, avoiding the trouble of waiting in line for two hours. On the cableway, she pointed out the river view of Chongqing and the scattered high-rise buildings, letting me truly understand the meaning of “mountain city.” The biggest surprise was that she also took us to experience Chongqing’s “ear cleaning”—the tingling and numb feeling was so comfortable!
The whole itinerary was compact but not rushed, with enough time to take photos and experience each attraction. Sister Chen also took group photos for us proactively and taught us how to take the best photos of Hongyadong with our mobile phones. After returning to Malaysia, I shared photos of Chongqing on Moments; many friends asked me how to arrange the itinerary, and I directly sent them the link to this Day-trips. If I come to Chongqing again next time, I want to try their Tailor Make Itinerary to explore more niche attractions in depth!

Dapat Discount dari Tripadvisor! Pelayanan Bagus!
I found this travel agency on Tripadvisor because of its high ratings and an exclusive discount! I booked their Guilin day trip. The booking process was very simple, and customer service confirmed all details promptly via WhatsApp. The guide picked us up from the hotel on time; he was a very humorous Chinese man who spoke excellent English. The Li River bamboo raft experience was so beautiful, like traveling through a painting. The beer fish we had for lunch was one of the best dishes we had in China. When dropping us off at the hotel, they even gave us a small box of osmanthus cake, a Guilin specialty, as a gift. A very pleasant surprise! Since Tripadvisor reviews led me to choose them, I must come back to leave my own positive review. Terima kasih!

History Tour
As an Indonesian Muslim, I’ve long wanted to take my family to experience the Tang Dynasty history in Xi’an, but worried about “not understanding historical explanations + difficulty finding halal food.” When I saw this Tailor Make Itinerary’s “Indonesian-speaking guide + halal customization” service on Tripadvisor, the 5-day customized itinerary after communication made my whole family fall in love with Xi’an!
Guide Xiao Yang speaks fluent Indonesian and Arabic; he confirmed the needs with me 1 week in advance: to avoid crowds, he arranged the Terracotta Army itinerary at 8 a.m.; considering the 5 daily prayers, he reserved 30 minutes of prayer time in the itinerary and checked the mosques near each attraction for us (such as “Lintong Mosque” next to the Terracotta Army). When visiting Shaanxi History Museum, Xiao Yang explained Tang Dynasty cultural relics in Indonesian, such as the “Silk Road story” behind the tri-color glazed camel figurine—even my 10-year-old daughter listened intently and actively asked, “How did people in the Tang Dynasty trade with Indonesia?”
We had no worries about food at all: at “Laosun’s Halal Restaurant” arranged by Xiao Yang, he would break the steamed bread for us for the lamb soup with steamed bread, and match it with non-spicy chili sauce; in the Tang Dynasty Never-Sleeping City, he took us to a halal food stall to buy “beef roujiamo” (beef sandwich), and my daughter ate two and still wanted more. The itinerary also thoughtfully added a “in-depth tour of Huimin Street,” but avoided commercial sections and took us to “Xiyangshi” where locals often go to buy halal mung bean cakes as souvenirs—affordable and authentic.
The most touching part was the details: knowing we are used to drinking warm water, Xiao Yang brought a thermos every day; when my daughter had a fever, he immediately took us to a nearby Muslim hospital and helped translate the condition; on the last day of the trip, he also helped us book a “halal Sichuan opera” performance and chose programs without pork elements. After returning to Indonesia, I wrote a PRODUCT REVIEW in the Muslim travel blogger community, and many fans asked me for the customization link—this Tailor Make Itinerary allows us to feel the history without worrying about faith and life needs at all!

wonderful family trip
What a wonderful family trip this was, and the guide was absolutely fantastic too — the explanations were rich and detailed, and the pace he set while showing us around the various attractions was just perfect. Time zipped by, and everything went exactly as we'd hoped. We picked up a lot of knowledge, and if we get the chance, we'd definitely go on another tour with this company, and we'd be more than happy to have Mike as our guide again.

A Solo Adventure to Remember
Chengdu, you stole my heart. This solo trip was everything I dreamed of—and more. Waking up to the smell of spicy hotpot in the air, wandering through the tree-lined streets of Jinli, sipping tea in a centuries-old teahouse while listening to locals chat… it felt like stepping into a warm, lively story.
But the highlight? The pandas. Oh, those fluffy giants! Watching a baby panda roll around in the grass, munching bamboo like it’s the best snack on earth—my heart practically melted. I stood there grinning like a kid, snapping photos (though none capture their magic). It’s a moment I’ll replay forever.
This trip wasn’t just about seeing sights—it was about feeling joy, slow and sweet. Chengdu, thank you for the memories. I’ll be back, with more tea and a bigger smile.

A Family Journey to Cherish
Our family’s custom tour through Beijing, Xi’an, and Guilin was lovely—way better than just flipping through photos. In Beijing, the kids actually put down their tablets to chase stray cats in the hutongs, while my parents chatted with a street vendor about old times. The Forbidden City was grand, but those little moments felt more real.
Xi’an’s terracotta army surprised us. We thought it’d be “just old statues,” but hearing how each soldier was crafted differently made the kids lean in, asking questions. Even my grumpy teen admitted, “That’s pretty cool.”
Guilin was the relaxer. Floating down the Li River, no rush, just pointing out hills that looked like elephants or camels. The kids argued over who saw a fish first, and my wife and I sipped tea, quiet.
It wasn’t all “magic”—we got lost once, and the food was spicy (too spicy for the kids). But that’s what made it ours. A trip that didn’t just show us China, but gave us stories to laugh about at dinners for years. Thanks for that.

A Family Delight!
Our family’s journey through Beijing, Shanghai, and Harbin was pure magic. Beijing’s ancient grandeur—those imperial palaces and the Great Wall—left us in awe, a perfect blend of history and majesty. Shanghai dazzled with its futuristic skyline, where skyscrapers glow like stars, yet the old lanes hold so much charm. Harbin, with its sparkling ice sculptures, felt like a winter fairy tale, especially watching the kids laugh while sliding on ice.
China’s beauty is overwhelming—so vast, so varied, and every corner feels special. None of this would have been as smooth without TST Cross-Border Travel. Their plans fit our family perfectly, no stress, just joy. And Lily, our guide, was wonderful—knowledgeable, patient with the kids, and full of little stories that made each place come alive.
We’ll carry these memories forever. Merci, TST and Lily—you made our China dream come true!

Booked via Tripadvisor - Flawless!
I chose this company for a Guilin day trip after seeing the excellent reviews on Tripadvisor, and I must admit, all the praise is absolutely true! The service was impeccable from the booking confirmation to the end of the tour. The online客服 responded quickly and answered all my questions about the Li River bamboo raft. The guide was waiting punctually in the hotel lobby on the day, and her English was very fluent. She not only explained the scenery but also shared stories about the local way of life, which was fascinating. Lunch was included and was at a family farm; the food was fresh farm-to-table and incredibly delicious. After returning, I even received an email from the company with a link to the photos taken that day! This level of service beyond expectations was truly touching. I will definitely leave another 5-star review on Tripadvisor.

So Much Fun
Our little group tour to Beijing, Shanghai, Harbin? Total blast. In Beijing, the kids went nuts over the Great Wall—kept racing up the steps, yelling “Last one’s a rotten egg!” My wife and I just laughed, taking pics like crazy.
Shanghai’s nuts too—those skyscrapers? Wow. We ate dumplings on the street, hot and steamy, messy fingers but big grins.
Harbin, though? The ice sculptures glowed at night, like a frozen fairyland. The kids slid on the ice rink until their cheeks were red, and grandma even tried—almost fell, but we caught her.
This trip? Not just pretty views. It’s the laughter, the messy meals, the “oops” moments. China’s cool. Real cool. We’re gonna talk about this for years.

Seamless Harbin Ice Festival Trip
Our Harbin Ice Festival trip booked via Tripadvisor was fantastic! The guide sent cold-weather tips in advance, and the rented down jackets kept us warm. We entered the park during off-peak hours, avoiding crowds. The guide explained the stories behind ice sculptures. The included Northeastern stew dinner was heartwarming. Small souvenirs were given on return. Fluent English communication and meticulous service made it perfect for international travelers.
