A private trip is exclusive to you—your family (including seniors or kids) or friends—with no one else. You can pick a pre-made private itinerary from our website, or we can customize one to your specific wishes. All plans are flexible to match your travel style.
How many people are in a small group?
Unlike agencies with groups of 25 to 30, our groups have no more than 18 people. We believe smaller groups let members get more enjoyment from the trip and have more meaningful interactions with the guide.
What’s the average age of group travelers?
Recent stats show our group travelers have an average age of around 45. 60% are middle-aged or seniors, and 40% are young people. You’ll enjoy chatting with peers, and might even make cross-generational friends—you won’t be disappointed.
What if I arrive early or late for a small group tour?
No matter how early or late you arrive, we’ll arrange airport pickup promptly. Just let us know your arrival time in advance.
If you arrive a few days before the group tour starts, we can book extra hotel nights and arrange private activities for you before you join the group. Similarly, you can extend your trip to any destination you like after the group tour ends—we’ll handle all arrangements if you need.
If you’re late due to a delayed or changed international flight, just tell us your updated schedule. We’ll make necessary adjustments. Rest easy—our goal is to ensure you have a hassle-free holiday, no matter what.
Can I bring my kids, and how are they charged?
Absolutely—kids are welcome on our top-quality 2025, 2026, and 2027 China group tours. We charge kids based on age: under 12s get big discounts on land services and domestic flights. Those 12 and over pay adult rates.
For infants under 2, we only charge necessary infant airfares during the tour. But if your trip includes a Yangtze River cruise, you’ll need to pay an extra percentage of the cruise fee for the baby, as per the cruise company’s policy.
Which airlines do you use for trips?
We mainly book domestic flights with China’s four largest airlines: Air China, China Southern Airlines, China Eastern Airlines, and Hainan Airlines. All have strong safety records, good service, competitive fares, and world-class planes—making them reliable choices.
Can I book my own hotel when traveling with your group?
Unfortunately, this isn’t possible. Our small groups are all-inclusive guided tours. Each city has an experienced English-speaking guide and driver for the whole group, so everyone needs to stay in the same hotel. This maximizes sightseeing time and lets us get better group rates.
What time do group activities start and end each day?
Full-day sightseeing usually starts around 8:30 AM and ends around 6:00 PM, with slight changes depending on the season. On days with evening shows, we might finish around 9:00 PM.
