Guests from all over the country will fly to Kunming. Upon arrival, you will be met by our professional greeting team and transferred to your hotel for check-in. Once settled, the rest of the day is yours to explore this vibrant city at your own pace.

Kunming is a city full of character waiting to be discovered. Wander through the historic streets where every old house might hide the most "Authentic Yunnan Flavor." We recommend sampling some local street food to get your first taste of the region. Welcome to Kunming—the "City of Eternal Spring"!

Accommodation: Chuxiong

After breakfast, depart at 09:00 for the West Mountain Scenic Area (Local transport: 60 RMB/person at your own expense), the only national-level tourist resort in Yunnan. Known as the "Top Wonderland of Central Yunnan," it offers the spectacular Dragon Gate, a complex of grottoes manually carved into steep cliffs. It is the premier spot to overlook Dianchi Lake and Kunming's panorama. At the foot of the mountain, enjoy a self-arranged lunch (×) at Chama Hua Street, featuring a nostalgic Republic of China style, local snacks, and traditional handicrafts.

Afterward, visit Dianchi Lake to admire the "Pearl of the Plateau" and view the "Sleeping Beauty" mountain from afar. You can interact with the Siberian seagulls (Note: Seagulls are present from Nov 1st to Mar 15th only; this is a complimentary seasonal stop). Later, travel by bus to Chuxiong for the Yi Ethnic Long Table Feast. The evening begins with the Fire Sacrifice Welcoming Ceremony, where you can learn the "Left Foot Dance" from local Yi youths. Following a nutrient-rich dinner, join the Bonfire Party for a night of celebration with the hospitable Yi people before checking into your hotel.

After breakfast, depart at 09:00 for Dali. Upon arrival, board an Erhai Lake Cruise to experience the breathtaking "Cangshan Mountain and Erhai Lake" landscape. As sunlight sparkles on the emerald waters, you will enjoy 360° panoramic views of the lake, finding yourself fully immersed in a scene of natural poetry and tranquility. Next, explore the Dali Ancient City, a historic cultural landmark with a classic chessboard layout and architecture preserved from the Ming and Qing dynasties. During your free time, you can visit the South Gate, Wuhua Tower, and Honglong Well, or sample local delicacies like grilled cheese (Rushan), Dali yogurt, and cold chicken rice noodles.

In the afternoon, head to Nanzhao Xicheng (Joy Town), a magnificent architectural complex featuring the most luxurious Bai ethnic folk houses. Here, you will engage in an Intangible Cultural Heritage Workshop guided by master craftsmen. You can choose one of the following three activities based on your preference: Tie-dyeing a traditional square scarf, Jia Ma (woodblock) printing, or traditional Embroidery. After this deep cultural experience, transfer to your hotel for dinner and rest.

After breakfast at 08:00, depart for Xinhua Village, a 4A-level scenic area and a "Grand View Garden" of ethnic customs. Home to the Yi, Hui, Miao, and other groups, it offers a glimpse into unique traditions like vibrant ethnic weddings and ancient trading practices. Next, travel to the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain scenic area and ascend via the Spruce Meadow Cable Car. You will traverse a vast virgin forest of towering spruce trees to reach high-altitude meadows offering stunning views of the snow-capped peaks against the lush greenery.

Afterward, visit Blue Moon Valley (Sightseeing bus 60 RMB/person at your own expense), where melting snow from the peaks forms a crystal-clear, turquoise river. On sunny days, the moon-shaped valley sparkles like a blue gem nestled at the mountain's base. Finally, head to Lijiang Ancient Town to explore its iconic small bridges, flowing streams, and cobblestone paths. During your free time, immerse yourself in the town's laid-back atmosphere and sample local treats like Lijiang Baba or Naxi rice cakes for dinner (×). After your exploration, return to the hotel independently.

After breakfast at 09:00, depart for Shuhe Ancient Town, an authentic and well-preserved Naxi settlement. Located northwest of Lijiang, it served as a vital station on the Ancient Tea Horse Road. The town is beautifully nestled between mountains and rivers, featuring a layout similar to Dayan Ancient City with traditional houses, winding stone lanes, and the gentle sound of flowing water everywhere. After enjoying a scheduled lunch, the rest of the day is yours for free time. You may choose to revisit your favorite spots, shop for local handicrafts, or simply relax in a café to soak up the peaceful atmosphere. Stay overnight in Lijiang.

Dining: Breakfast / Lunch / Walking Marriage Feast

Accommodation: Lugu Lake

After breakfast, depart for Lugu Lake, the "Kingdom of Daughters" and home to the matrilineal Mosuo people. Due to the long journey, lunch will be served en route. Upon arrival, head to the Viewing Platform for the best panoramic view of the entire lake. Next, board a traditional Mosuo Pig-trough Boat to cruise the crystal waters and visit the scenic Liwubi Island, known for its vibrant birdlife and flowers. Afterward, enjoy a Scenic Drive around the Lake to witness the stunning reflection of clouds on the water and gaze up at the majestic Gemu Holy Mountain.

In the evening, enjoy a specialty Mosuo Walking Marriage Feast for dinner. This is followed by a complimentary Bonfire Party, where you can experience primitive Mosuo customs and dance with the locals. After the festivities, check into your hotel for a restful night by the lake.

After breakfast, visit a traditional Mosuo village for a Mosuo Cultural Home Visit. Sit around the sacred hearth with a Mosuo matriarch (Ama) to hear stories of their unique "Kingdom of Daughters" and learn about the customs of their matrilineal clan culture. Next, proceed to Lovers' Beach, a romantic stretch of shallow shoreline with crystal-clear waters and long piers that extend into the lake, framed beautifully by weeping willows.

Following lunch, return to Lijiang by bus to catch the High-Speed Train back to Kunming. Upon arrival in Kunming, enjoy dinner at your leisure (×) before checking into your hotel for the night.

After breakfast, visit the Tourist Distribution Center (Please note: this visit is only scheduled for guests with return flights departing after 12:00 PM). Depending on your flight schedule, our team will provide a transfer to the airport for your journey home.
